Please be aware that since the March edition of The Herald went to print part of the ceiling at St Mary’s Ramsden Bellhouse has collapsed. We are in the process of arranging for scaffolding to be erected so that our architect and builder can examine the ceiling to ascertain the extent of the damage, but in the meantime the church will be closed until further notice. That means that the service of Holy Communion on 22 February has been cancelled. The group service for Mothering Sunday on 15 March will now be held at St Margaret's Downham. We hope that the Palm Sunday service on 29 March will be held in Ramsden Bellhouse Baptist Church, but this is still to be confirmed. It seems unlikely that we will be able to hold a service in St Mary’s on Easter Day. We will publish more information once our architect has inspected the damage.
